Artwork Part 2

Not from any episode in particular, just
thought I'd take a stab at these expressions.
I'm actually rather proud of Ren's eyes in
that one. Good stuff.

Ah....the joys of an anti gravity bathtub. Ren's face is just fabulous here. I actually drew this in permanent marker, which is very rare. Wouldn't you love to relax like this?

Space...Madness.

This was from where Stimpy was about

to press the History Eraser Button. I love

Ren's eyes like this... he so rarely bats his

lashes. Stimpy has the look on his face I

get in the middle of a math lecture.

This is from The Boy Who Cried Rat.

I love Ren's seriousness in this shot.

His eyes convey so much, it's great.

And it's so rare that he is calm and collected with his plan.

All in all this episode was fabulous, this was my first

memory of the 50's couple coming into the series.

Enjoy! More to come.

Happy Happy Joy Joy! Some artwork.

Behold...an homage to greatness!

<~ My most fav-o-rite expression from "Space Madness." The spiel Ren gives about his ice cream bar is still etched in my mind forever.. I can still remember reciting it verbatim to my mom and dad when I was 7. Good freakin' times. There's something about someone in a zero gravity bathtub gnawing into soap that makes you want to get inside their head. Brilliance.

From "Stimpy's Invention." I absolutely love the expression on Ren's face. I can't tell you how many times I've had a rude awakening and I've had those crazy eyes and grinding smile. At the bottom is a little attempt at Ren in his robe and fez, where I think he looks his most suave.

more to come! The picture-adder-feature on this thing is a bit convaluted for my taste, so I will put the rest on my next post.

Love,

My *updated* picture, if anyone is curious.

This one is from my trip to Old San Juan.

She's well acquainted with the touch of the velvet hand like a lizard on a window pane...

Nothing like starting off your first blogger.com blog than with some White Album
Beatles lyrics. For those unenlightened ones, that was from "Happiness Is A Warm Gun."
If you love it, you're already my friend. If you haven't, listen, learn, love. It will change your life.

I am new to this interesting yet seemingly ominous void that is blogging, I have never been
one to want to show my grievances of the day to everyone in the digital world, yet, I have always been one for keeping lines of communication between total strangers open.

So let's get on with it, shall we?

Truth be told I caught wind that John K (one of my role models) had a blog on here..
I have commented on his most recent post and if it is indeed Mr. K, then I am ecstatic to
the nth degree. And if he should just so happen to come across my humble but love filled
yarns that I knit ever so joyfully, I would really really...REALLY...be delighted
to have some correspondence with such a legend.

But enough of my gushing...

About me, I'm an Alabama girl born in 1984 who has always felt like she was born 15-25 years
too late. I say this because I identify with people who are 15-25 years older than me, people my age usually ignore me or walk in chattering little clusters on the sidewalk with their
big aviator glasses and frilly gypsy skirts...whilst I wear black crushed velvet and usually some kitchy t-shirt to advertise that I still play NES..or that I am proud to love Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

I was born on a Thursday during Prime Time, so I have always felt that Televison
was my destiny in some way, shape or form. I am majoring in Television and Film, but my
first love was animation. I love it. I eat it, sleep it, breathe it, art is everything. Art is everywhere you look, in the eyes of everyone who will really look back at you.

By the prior paragraph you now can figure that I am a Pisces. We're the creative sensitive emotional types that you Leos of the world usually chew up and spit out.

But let me tell you, Little Missy.. my eyes may be big and swimmy and my disposition soft...but this cat has claws.

Like to be scratched? -MJRS
